We appreciate your support and curiosity about our plans! Below, we try to answer the most frequently asked questions we've been receiving.

Were your operations impacted by Hurricane Helene?

At first, yes; We were closed to the public for a few months as our town and county worked tirelessly to restore our infrastructure. As of December 2024, however, we are operating like normal and renting rooms again to the public. Many Burnsville businesses and restaurants have re-opened and are welcoming visitors at this time. We sincerely appreciate your concern and support during this time.

When will you open?

Rooms in the NuWray and Carriage House are now open! We have also already opened our adjacent location, Carriage House Sundries, a wine & cigar shop, cafe, and lounge. The NuWray restaurant is on track to open winter of 2024. We will announce our opening dates via our email newsletter and Facebook and Instagram, so be sure to follow us in all those places.

Can I book a room?

Yes! We have rooms available in both the main hotel and the Carriage House. You can book directly on our website, call us at (828) 678-7070, or email stay@nuwray.com to make a reservation.

Can I book a private event?

We have started slowly booking private events in our outdoor spaces, at our adjacent location, Carriage House Sundries, and (starting with 2025 events) the NuWray. To inquire, send us an email at events@nuwray.com with as many details about your private event as possible. If we are able to accommodate you, we will let you know!

How many rooms will you have?

We have 22 rooms in the main hotel, all of which can accommodate two people on Queen or King beds. We also have 4 additional rooms on the 2nd floor of the Carriage House, just behind the NuWray Hotel on S. Main St. These rooms can accommodate up to four people, and are kid- and pet-friendly.
